Cedar & Salt opened in 2014 in the old feed store on Main Street. We kept the fir floors and the big windows, put in a wood oven, and started cooking the way people around here always have: over fire, with what is in season.
Most of what we serve is grown or raised within twenty miles. The salmon is from the coast, the beer is from down the road, and the marionberries in the crisp were picked in Carnation.
The patio looks straight onto the Snoqualmie. In summer it is the best seat in the valley. In flood season we watch the river the same way everyone else does.

Bar
Keeps twelve taps local and the wine list short and right.
The chanterelle pizza is the reason we drive out from Redmond.
Best patio in the valley. Sit by the river at sunset and try to leave.
They did our rehearsal dinner. Every detail was handled, and the salmon was perfect.
